Dr. Astha
Agarwalla
Dr. Astha Agarwalla is an Associate Professor Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management,
Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She is also Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A),
specializing in Public Systems, and a Masters in Economics. Her teaching and
research interests are in the areas of Public Policy, Infrastructure
Management, and Urban Economics, besides the core courses in Economics. She has earlier worked with a leading consulting firm in India
where she executed feasibility studies for Infrastructure projects, project
management support to leading PSUs, and policy framework development assistance
for leading international donor agencies. She has designed and taught courses
in Public Policy and Urban Infrastructure domain as a Visiting Faculty at
Indian Institute of Management – Indore during 2011-13. Besides she has been
associated with various other renowned professional Institutions in India, as
adjunct faculty. Her research work is published
in reputed journals and in the form of working papers. She has won several

in Quantitative Methods and Operations Management at Adani Institute of
Infrastructure Management, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He is pursuing his PhD at Indian
Institute of Management Kozhikode. His doctoral thesis is on determining optimum
reliability acceptance sampling plans for products sold under warranty.
His teaching interest are in
applications of quantitative methods on operations management and his research
area are reliability acceptance sampling plans,
characterization of probability distributions, warranty models, sports
analytics. He worked
with a leading IT and was involved in several projects for fortune 500 clients.
He has published his research papers in International Journal of
Production Research, IIMB Management Review, Communications in
Statistics – Simulation and Computation, and Journal of Statistics and

Dr. Indra Kant Bharti is a Research Associate at
Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management, Ahmedabad. He has been competeted
PhD from Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. His doctoral thesis is examinig
the effects of remittance on intergenerational mobility in case of education,
occupation and social capital. He has
earlier worked as consultant for research programme on Poverty and Inequality
under Jens Lerche, SOAS, University of London and ICSSR
Project on Rural
Transformation and Changes in Living Conditions in not so Dynamic States of
India under N. K. Mishra, Department of Economics, Banaras Hindu University.
He has published his research papers
on migrant labour and development issues at micro as well as macro level in
various reputed journal.
